This wireless version of our Marconi station operates at a powerful 900mhz which allows for up to 300' transmission distance between outdoor sensors and indoor display. When conditions change, Marconi receives updates every 2 seconds.
The transmitter for Wireless Merlin (wind speed and direction) operates on solar power with a rechargeable NiCad battery backup (2 AA batteries included). The transmitter for Wireless Mystic (outdoor temperature) operates on 2AA alkaline batteries (also included) for up to 18 months before battery replacement. The barometer is self-contained within Mystic. The transmitter for the wireless RainWatch (rainfall) operates on 2AA alkaline batteries (also included) for up to 18 months before battery replacement. Cronus (time & tide) requires no external sensors.
