Description

The Davis 6410 Replacement Anemometer includes both wind speed and wind direction sensors. Rugged components stand up to hurricane-force winds, yet are sensitive to a light breeze. These Davis Vantage Pro2 anemometers for sale include sealed bearings for long life. The range and accuracy specifications of this Davis Instruments anemometer have been verified in wind-tunnel tests (information available upon request). A Davis Anemometer reported wind speeds of 175 miles per hour before its tower collapsed during hurricane Andrew, 1992. Digital filtering, with time constant as specified below, is applied to wind direction measurements. In areas where icing of the anemometer is a problem, the included Anemometer Drip Rings deflect water from the joint between moving parts. The Davis 6410 is compatible with Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2.

Good company to buy from December 14, 2017
Reviewer: Stephen Hollingshead from Seguin, TX United States
I've ordered several things from Davis including my entire weather monitoring system.  This time the anemometer was ordered and the packaging for the nuts/bolts was opened and everything (nearly) was floating around in the box during shipping.  Not all the mounting hardwire was still there.  This wasn't a problem because I could use the same hardware off the unit I was replacing but its never a good idea to have metal nuts and bolts floating around in the packaging during shipment.  I would definitely buy from these people again and will be getting a complete new system within a few years from them.

I have two of these, they perform flawlessly and have for years aside from normal wear and tear.  I would buy the same station again.
